Overview

This course will teach novice WordPress users and web developers how to identify the major components of a blog, website, CRM or CMS and how to build these using WordPress. It will explain the key features of WordPress and its capabilities as a blogging or content management tool, how to plan and design a site and then how to build it. We explain the difference between the front end and the backend, how to set up your website with a domain name, and what you might require from a hosting service. Topics covered include Configuration, Customisation, Installation and upgrades, WordPress administration, installing WordPress plugins and themes and plenty of great tips for building and maintaining a WordPress website.
