Overview of Web Accessibility and Usability

The importance of having an accessible site is greater than simply improving the experience for disabled users, as important as this is. Making your website fully accessible benefits individuals, businesses, and society as a whole. It also keeps you aligned with legal regulations. Developers, designers and content editors all play a part in maintaining the accessibility of a site and without proper training, may inadvertently make changes that compromise a website's accessibility status and fall foul of the law. By equipping internal teams with the knowledge and skills to build and write in an accessible way, you will ensure compliance from the outset. Our course will enable those attending to gain a thorough understanding of web accessibility and usability issues. Our full course agenda includes Web standards, Web accessibility, Understanding accessibility requirements, Making a website more accessible, Assessing website accessibility and Recommendations for delegates' own websites.
