- Taking your media 'on the road- as proxies only
- Working with Red material and Alexa/Amira footage
Editing
- Close examination of all standard editing tools and the Precision Editor
- Editing using the Browser Viewer
Multicam Editing
- Advanced use of Multiclips including adding/deleting/re-syncing angles and managing and mixing multi-source sound
Colour Correction and Keying
- Understanding Log formats and LUTs (Lookup tables)
- In-depth discussion of keying in FCPX and the chroma keyer manual controls
- Advanced use of luma keys and masks
- Advanced use of colour correction including primary and (multiple) secondary corrections
Extending FCP
- Introduction to Core Melt and MFx plugins to extend FCPX
- In-depth discussion of motion graphics within FCPX
- Introduction to Motion and how to create Titles, Transitions and Filters for publishing to FCPX (including linking and rigging parameters)
Meeting Broadcast Standards
- Making your project compliant with broadcast requirements, including Video and Audio levels, the Loudness meter (plugin required) and EBU R128 standard
- Dealing with UK Standard definition 16:9 material (FHA)
Codecs and Compression
- Introduction to codecs and compression techniques
- Introduction to Compressor including multi-core processing
Exporting and Archiving
- Exporting XML for DaVinci, ProTools and Logic Pro X
