Overview

Colour grading is a post-production process common to film-making and video editing, designed to improve the appearance of still or moving images, in different environments on different devices. Our one day course explains the difference between colour grading and colour correction and introduces basic skills and colour workflows to those familiar with the production and post production process. The course is aimed at editors, data wranglers or enthusiasts who want to flesh out their knowledge of colour grading work. The course teaches critical colour theory concepts, how to use scopes and also analyses how colour is used in film to create mood or affect viewers perceptions.
